Acer’s Apple cream!

~ Apple

~ Plain Yogurt

~ Honey (I use 2tbsp on small batches)

I make all of mine in a blender and then freeze them in ice trays of a tupperware, then i portion them out after thawing for a bit! All of these can also be mixed with yogurt to make them creamy. The fun part of these is that you can also enjoy them with your kiddos! These all work as filling for marrow bones, or ice pops (alone), or KONG stuffing. I stuff the KONG toys for the Girls and Jack gets a marrow bone. You can put this in a KONG and then push a carrot into it to plug the opening so they work extra hard for the goodies!

Remember avoid grapes they can be toxic to your dog.

Finishing finals

Very much like State Construction, Puppy Construction crews are inefficient, and everyone's trying to do one job.... Here is a prime example, Dig a hole. it takes 2pups and a dog to dig 1 hole? I guess so?

Oopsie is glad to have mommy done with her O-chem final,  She helped mommy study by trying to eat the flashcards... Thanks, At least mommy knows pthalic anhydride like the back of her hand...

This is Oopsie's Helping face.

Oopsie gettin bigger!

Well Its official! Oopsie is now bigger then her Aunts Lila and Lucy. I've never felt like Lila was small until I had her next to Oopsie. We went on a 2 mile hike, where deaf Lucy brought Oopsie on a adventure where they both needed to be found in the brush. It was a good day!
I also start to tell her "Soon you'll be to big to..." then I correct myself, she will never be to big for momma cuddles! <3
Oopsie is getting to be as big as her big sister Molly! We are going to have to invest in Purina stocks!

Dixie

I got switched to a new female ACD, Bandit had a false pregnancy, Dixie will be having her pups in ~20 days, I am now the title holder of pick of the litter on that litter. Dixie is a cutie! and an sonogram of her 10-12 pups to boot! To say the least I've got a lot to pick from! Hopefully Bandit will be feeling OK soon!

HAPPY EASTER!!

Oopsie does a really good Easter Bunny impression! Happy Easter everyone!!

Long walks for everyone!

Oopsie and Molly went on a long walk on Saturday! On the way back, Oopsie got tired and needed to be carried! I had to carry her on back! At around 20lbs I had to carry her like a sheep!

Molly and her dad had a good hike! She thought she was helping by carrying those rocks in her pack! We use a backpack to help us get her excess energy out! She as a teenager can be quite the handful!
Oopsie on the car ride home, she slept for so long! It was a good walk for everyone!

The Blog is named 3 Adventuring Dogs (and you have only met two!) so here is a pup-date on the third member of the crew.  Sugar Hill's Silver Bandit "Bandit" is the mother of the third puppy. This said she is very pregnant in the photo! Fingers crossed for a boy! He will hopefully be born at the end of March beginning of April! Pictures courtesy of Grizzly Hollow Farms (the breeder)

Oopsie is already as big as her doggie Aunts Lila and Lucy! They are all demonstrating "sit" very well for Oopsie's first week in the family!!

The little spoon tactic

Oopsie decided she could take on Moly using the little spoon tactic. Molly was very good at being gentle with her baby sister this morning.
